How it works

A teacher in every pocket.

Find someone who knows

Search a skill or describe the problem. See who teaches it, where they are, which languages they speak and whether they are online right now.

Talk live, on video

Book a time or start straight away. The call runs inside the app, camera on or voice only, and no phone numbers change hands.

Pay for the minutes you used

The amount is held when you book and settled when the call ends. Finished early? You pay for the time used, down to the helper's minimum.

Say what is wrong

Type the problem, pick video or voice, set a budget per hour, and choose who should hear it: a country, a language, licensed professionals only.

The people who know get a ping

Helpers who teach that skill are notified at once. The first to say yes ends the wait.

You see up to five helpers, ranked by skill, how close they are, their rating and the languages you share. Choose one and the call starts.

Not solved? Send it again

One tap sends the same request back out to new helpers. The one you just spoke to is left off the list.

List what you teach

A title, what happens in a session, a price per hour, and the shortest and longest session you take. One-off, weekly or daily. Live in two minutes, with no approval queue.

Show who you are

Your profile carries your ID ticks, your languages, the skills you can help with, an intro video and up to five photos of your work.

Get paid when the call ends

The buyer's money is held when a session is booked and settled to you when it ends. Take urgent calls as well, or switch them off.

Who sells

A baker, a guitarist, the one who fixes washing machines.

Most skills never reach a classroom. Someone learnt them the hard way and would gladly show you for half an hour. Hereknows gives that person a way to be found, and a way to be paid.

Everyone is ID-checked

Phone, email, a live selfie and a government ID before anyone can book, sell or take an urgent call. Only the result is kept.
Every call is recorded

Recordings are kept for 30 days for safety and disputes, then deleted.

Not what was promised? Tell us within five days and we check the recording.
Licensed means checked

Skills that need a licence, from counselling to electrical work, show a verified badge once we have seen the document.

Hereknows is for adults. Every account is checked to be 18 or over.
